Kate Sidley takes on the persona of Delilah, the hilarious and fictitious Agony Aunt who dispenses witty advice together with searing insights and believes a good pun and a well-chosen recipe can solve any problem – big, small or plain weird. Part Agony Aunt and part foodie, Delilah has been there and cooked that.
The recipes are delicious and imaginative (and they work!) and are clearly compiled by someone who knows the power of good food. Kate’s love for cooking comes through but she lays no claim to “chefinesss”. Kate writes a weekly column for the Sunday Times and is a well known freelance writer and columnist for many magazines and newspapers. The recipes are for the home and the heart and the writing will make you laugh out loud.
